Dominique Schmidt has dedicated his life to the teachings of J. Krishnamurti and the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo. You can learn about them with him in his gîte at Pereyrol, settled amongst the blissful, quiet nature in the heart of the Cévennes.
He is the author of several books on Krishnamurti or Sri Aurobindo and other spiritual themes, as well as numerous articles in the magazine 3ème Millénaire,(France) the USF Bulletin (France) and the journal New Race (USA).

After forty years of travel, adventure and research in India, Australia, Thailand and Indonesia, Dominique Schmidt has settled in the south of France in the Cévennes with his partner Angélique.
Pereyrol is an enchanting, timeless estate isolated in the middle of 42 hectares of chestnut forest, in the proximity of the Cévennes National Park.
There reigns absolute peace and natural beauty conducive to an inner search, the regeneration of consciousness and the joy of simply being. It’s a perfect spot for an inner search or even just a quiet holiday away from the maddening crowds.
Dominique offers discussions or workshops and individual meetings
The interviews with him take place in a spontaneous, joyful discovery, in the inspiration of the moment, incorporating in a creative way the integral yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the teaching of J. Krishnamurti encouraging a letting go of your defense mechanisms and psychological tensions.
This meditative, unconstrained relaxation arouses the flame of your inner being to awaken to unconditioned life.
Inspired by the teaching of J. Krishnamurti, Dominique Schmidt goes to the source of the problem, our consciousness fragmented and conditioned by our ego, and helps to awakens us, through the understanding of the mechanisms of the ‘me’, to a state of pure intelligence and pure love, freed from the false becomings of the ego.
Without freedom from the ego, is it possible to integrate ourselves into the creative movement of the Real and to discover the planes of consciousness beyond the Mind explored by Sri Aurobindo in his chef d’oeuvre, The Life Divine?
Dominique’s spiritual guidance is given freely (without charge), two hours in the morning or afternoon according to your preference.
Free use of his large library is available to visitors.
Dominique’s wish is that from each retreat the guests leave for everyday life recharged and with a new luminous dynamism, which will help them in the blossoming of their deeper nature.
